Spirit of Painting Bali 2013

In 2013 our dream was to have a gathering of international artists with the theme “Transformation”. The theme for 2014 is Writing and Art.

In 2013 we focused on Philip Rubinov Jacobson, Master Painter who taught new painting technique, encouraged an intuitive approach, an alchemy of art, strengthening higher visions This all took place at the beautiful art Centre Bali Purnati in 2014 we will be in a beautiful studio in the rice fields in Ubud.. Thanks to all the participants and teachers who came from Canada, Germany, California, New York, Austria, Australia and Bali in 2013 who made this possible. Meeting fellow creative creators was a big part of it and it will also be in 2014.

In 2013 we had as well as the talented participants Guest artist De Es Schwertberger from Austria, and Wolfgang Widmoser from Bali who both did Presentations, Della Burford (Acu -Yoga and Inspiration Class) and Dale Bertrand( Medicine Wheels) from Canada led workshops, and Visiting
Artist Peter Gric and Vesna Krasnec from Austria who joined us many activities.

All participants and artist lifted our spirits in various ways and in their own unique ways. Thanks also to participants and visitors Tom, Sal, Lana, Irene, Sylke, Katia, Kim, Jacquie, Arnie, Michelle and Aubrey.

We were able to include a Presentation by by I Made Sidia, a famous Master Dance and Puppeteer who came with his family, and day trips to-Besakih the Mother Temple, Lake Batur with the Volcano and the Holy Water for cleansing. Our thanks for Norah Burford for all her efforts in 2013. We are also very appreciative of Philip Rubinov Jacobson for sharing his love of teaching and life and Mantra for joining also in 2013.

In 2014 the dream is to include art, writing, , visualizing book ideas, yoga, study of the chakras, focusing “your story within that is to told”, meeting fellow international artists, visiting sacred places in Bali and experiencing the spirit and culture of the beautiful island of Bali. Norah Burford will be Event Planner. Della and Dale will lead workshops, and also we will have sessions by Karja ( former Dean of the Faculty of Art in Denpansaur), yoga sessions, an art show “Dream Wheels”, reading from “Journey to a Lotus”, “Dream Wheels”, and “Stone Book of Knowledge”. We will also have a presentation by I Made Sidia and other surprise Visiting Artists and authors.
