Keane is Tom Chaplin (vocals, etc), Richard Hughes (drum, etc), Tim Rice-Oxley ( Piano, etc) and Jesse Quin (bass, etc).

Keane achieved mainstream success with the release of their debut album, Hopes and Fears, in 2004 garnering multiple awards including Brits and an Ivor Novello, and selling over five million copies. Success continued with their second studio album, Under the Iron Sea, which topped the album charts in the UK and debuted at an impressive No.4 on the Billboard 200 chart. Perfect Symmetry was their third album release in October 2008, when both Hopes and Fears (number 13) and Under the Iron Sea (number 8) were voted by readers of Q magazine as among the best British albums ever. The 8 track Night Train EP was released in May 2010 and went straight in at No1 in the UK album charts.

Their fifth album, Strangeland, was released in May 2012, and again peaked at No.1 on the UK Albums Chart
