Darius Sinathrya Becomes FC Barcelona’s Honorary Fan in Indonesia

Our own Darius Sinathrya is FC Barcelona’s third honorary fan after Indian actor Ranbir Kapoor and Japanese singer Yu Shirota. He was in the FC Barcelona offices, joined by FCB director general Antoni Rossich, last Thursday to sign an official deal to become the club’s official face in Indonesia. Darius was wearing a batik shirt with Barca crest on it, something that turns out to be quite unique in the occasion. The awarding goes along with the fact that Barcelona has a huge fan base in Indonesia. “It is a great honour to be an honorary fan of Barca” he said. “Barca have lots of fans in my country and the people are passionate about FC Barcelona. They are crazy about following all of the Barca news and people watch their games every week”.

During his stay, Darius also met few Barcelona players in person, including Cesc Fabregas, Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta, Thiago and Victor Valdes. Married to Donna Agnesia, the TV presenter has two sons called Lionel and Diego Andres after Messi and Iniesta respectively. This Wednesday Darius will be joining Barca fans in Milan for the Champions League clash.
