Brighton Fashion Week – Showcasing Innovation

Brighton Fashion Week was born by serendipitous necessity, the need to give voice to the creative individuals that are taking control – of their work, their output, and their vision. The distinct and discerningly recognised platform that we offer, which has nurtured and supported emerging design talent for the last four years, is growing in size and stature exponentially, with a trail of successes, and an auspiciously intensifying limelight. We showcase a range of key designs, ideas, skills, concepts and innovative artistry; providing a platform of exposure in order for both these influential and potentially game-changing matters to be recognised, and the individuals themselves.

These integral aims were planted over a decade ago and it has stunned, yet inspired us, with stern motivation from it’s surprisingly remarkable growth and the clear realisation of the need of such a beneficially necessary platform. This year, we are exhibiting diverse dimensions of innovative design and artistry, in the inextricably weaved fields of Fashion and Costume Design, featuring an array of international designers coming from many corners of the globe. We’re excited to announce ShowReel – a unique catwalk show dedicated to supporting and exposing costume design; a discipline that entwines its way both in and out of Fashion. Zeitgeist returns with a group of such remarkable talent from emerging designers whom are or will be shaping, shifting, and progressing fashion design and the industry.

Sustain is another welcomed addition – a showcase of ethically minded design; of utmost importance in this day and age. High Street showcases the accessibility of fashion in popular culture by highlighting the application of this trend into our daily lives.

And so, we invite you to give the nod to Fashion; that peculiar and dynamically diverse seedbed capable of cultivating such dextrous creativity and artistry that impacts and influences so much of our ideas, minds and everyday lives.
