Best Dressed at the 2013 Grammy Awards

The 2013 Grammy Awards are here, and we couldn’t be more excited. After an awards season filled with play-it-safe-nude-mermaid gowns, we love to see stars take risks on the red carpet. Celebrities like Faith Hill, Beyoncé and Rihanna went out on a limb in bold colors and unexpected prints and silhouettes. The Grammys are all about experimentation and our best-dressed list is full of ladies who took a chance, made it work and had us looking twice … in a good way.

The singer looked feminine and flirtatious in a gorgeous red cutout gown by Emerson. She accessorized with a striking metallic belt, Marina B earrings, Demarco snake ring and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes.

The country cutie dazzled in a strapless Roberto Cavalli gown and Jimmy Choo heels. Not to be missed was her magnificent diamond necklace by Jonathon Arndt. “It’s worth than me!” she joked on the red carpet.

The “Call Me Maybe” singer looked like a modern day mermaid in this striking beaded design by Roberto Cavalli. She completed her shimmery ensemble with a Reece Hudson clutch, Jerome Rousseau shoes and jewelry by H. Stern. “I tried on like, eight dresses before I selected this one,” she told.

The country star walked the red carpet in a J. Mendel crème silk chiffon pleated gown with a plunging neckline and embroidered straps. Minimal jewelry and metallic heels completed her angelic look

The powerful performer stepped out in a bold black gown with sexy cutouts by Azzedine Alaïa. The modern crossover bodice showed off her toned midsection perfectly.

The singer turned heads in a revealing look by Georges Chakra that left little to the imagination. Geometric sheer panels added a playful peek-a-boo effect, while a sweeping tulle skirt exuded elegant sophistication. “I feel good tonight. I feel comfortable,” she said.

The gorgeous singer stunned in a ravishing custom Azzedine Alaïa gown featuring sexy sheer panels of chiffon. “I loved the color, it was stunning!” she told E! News of her stylish selection.
