
Twice a year Berlin becomes an international location for fashion and lifestyle topics. During the Berlin Fashion Week, fashion enthusiasts, buyers, trade experts and the media interact at shows and awards ceremonies, collect information at fashion trade shows and attend exhibitions and off-site events.
Highlights from July 2-7 2013 at the next Berlin Fashion Week are the shows of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin on “Straße des 17. Juni” at the Brandenburg Gate.
BREAD & BUTTER, the leading international trade fair for street and urban wear, will takes place from July 2-4 2013 with the motto “Connect” at the former Tempelhof Airport, a site with a rich tradition.
PREMIUM the fashion show; BRIGHT the street wear trade fair; the New York Trade Show (capsule); the orderplatform for high fashion SHOW & ORDER; the fashion show PANORAMA, as well as THE GALLERY BERLIN round out the week.
Berlin will show itself from its ‘green-fashion’ side this season, too, by introducing the newest trends and discussing current questions surrounding ecological design. Among this week’s eco-shows are: Showfloor Berlin, Lavera Showfloor, GREENshowroom and the Ethical Fashion Show.
At the final presentation and the award ceremony of the fashion competition “Start your Fashion Business” the finalists present their collections for the 2014 Spring/Summer season.
The Showroom Days take place in various locations, largely as public events, for everyone interested in fashion.
Berlin Fashion Week will start at Januari 14 – 19 2014.
Berlin Partner für Wirtschaft und Technologie GmbH has been supporting the Berlin Fashion Week’s events together with the Berlin senate government since 2007. The Senate Department for Economics, Technology and Research co-finances individual events while Berlin Partner markets the capital as an emerging fashion metropolis and a location for business.
