The Mask Dance or Tari Topeng is the sacral dance intrigued with drama that was originally performed only by the Javanese aristocratic before it became popular as a folk form. Through times and regions, this tale of love, devotion and bravery evolves into several versions. With Rahayu Supanggah as music director and involving some of Indonesian Maestros such as: I Made Sidia, Sutarno Haryono, Wangi Indriya, Wasi Bantolo, The Majestic Mask exhibition intends to feature some of the strongest versions of the tale coming from Indramayu, Solo and Bali performed by world class performers like Tutut Wirastuti, Danang Pamungkas and Agus Margiyanto.
